Why does APADS, Inc. have an annual colloquium for its doctoral candidates?

Writer: Dr. Sherry DavisDr. Sherry Davis

Dr. Stanley Benson Viltz

(1944 - 2016)

A colloquium in an academic setting is a meeting or seminar that brings together experts, scholars, and students to discuss a specific topic or field of study. The purpose of the colloquium is to promote intellectual exchange and collaboration, provide opportunities for networking and professional development, and advance knowledge in the various fields explored by doctoral candidates and presenters. APADS, Inc. provides a safe space for doctoral candidates to present their research to their academic peers.

APADS, Inc. continues Dr. Viltz’s legacy by hosting its annual colloquium for doctoral candidates to present their research. The colloquium will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2:30pm (PST). For more information, please go to APADS, Inc.
